  The margarita... The ubiquitous, droning, pseudo-cocktail of the Tex-Mex world. Once a proud blend of Cointreau, tequila, lime, salt, and ice; it has been reduced to tequila and margarita (or God forbid, sour) mix dispensed from a slushy machine. I ordered an Occulto-rita with an extra shot. It was good. Like, really good. So good, in fact, that by the time it was gone I realized that I would not be the one driving home. Then came the main: Bistek al Habanero. It too was wonderful. Finally, a Tex-Mex place that is more "Mex" than "Tex." The drinks are perfect, the food is flavorful, and the service is friendly. Thank you, El Habanero, for not sticking so closely to the norm.
